Fall 2025 STEM Camp Schedule & Themes
Magikid Robotics Lab’s fall lineup is filled with exciting camp themes tailored to different age groups, so every child gets the right level of challenge and fun.
September 1 – Labor Day (HPISD & DISD Holiday)
- Ages 4–9: Fantasy Quest
Inspired by Pokémon and Minecraft, students will design and program their favorite characters using robotics kits, 3D modeling, and coding tools. A magical way to blend STEM with imagination. - Ages 9–14: Coding with Roblox Bootcamp
Dive into Roblox Studio to learn game design, Lua scripting, and how to create fully playable games in an interactive, fast-paced environment.
October 13 – Columbus Day (HPISD & DISD Holiday)
- Ages 4–9: Robot Olympics
Build and code robots to compete in Olympic-style events like skiing, soccer, and obstacle races—developing engineering skills through friendly competition. - Ages 9–14: Robot Design & Coding Workshop with VEX IQ
Work with advanced VEX IQ kits to build robots using sensors, motors, and attachments, then tackle real-world challenges through problem-solving.
November 3 – HPISD Holiday
- Ages 4–9: Super Inventors Lab
Become an inventor for the day! Create original machines, games, and interactive characters using robotics kits, coding platforms, and 3D modeling. - Ages 9–14: 3D Design Workshop with Blender
Learn the basics of Blender to design characters, models, and environments—perfect for budding 3D artists.
November 4 – HPISD & DISD Holiday
- Ages 4–9: Mythical Creatures
Design and animate dragons, unicorns, and other magical beings with robotics, 3D tools, and beginner coding. - Ages 9–14: Full Day – Python Coding with Minecraft Workshop
Use Python to create custom tools, mobs, and game mechanics in Minecraft while mastering real-world programming skills.
Thanksgiving Week Camps – November 24, 25, 26 & 28
- Ages 4–9: Minecraft Maker STEM Camp
Build and code inside Minecraft with hands-on challenges, beginner-friendly redstone circuits, and puzzle-solving. - Ages 9–14: Minecraft Maker STEM Camp
Take Minecraft making to the next level with engineering challenges, advanced redstone circuitry, and game design projects.
