Winter Academic Camps are a great way to keep you kids busy during the winter breaks. This includes Fall Break, Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. This helps your children stay busy and families from hearing the dreaded I am bored.
Frontiers of Flight Museum
We are hosting Winter Camps on December 27-29, 2023, and January 3, 5, 2024 for 1st-10th graders.
Description: Our 3-day mini-camp features educational tours, games, creative projects, investigations, and more. These in-person camps are for current 1st – 10th graders. Campers will be grouped by grade level and have age-appropriate activities for their respective grade range. All campers will experience our SPOC Planetarium and visit the Museum’s galleries. Students 5th grade and higher will get to hear from a local STEM Career Speaker!
The Kid Connection
The Kid Connection located near downtown McKinney has some amazing educational summer camp opportunities! If you are looking for summer camp options that are academically focused but packed with fun, check these out! The Kid Connection specializes in helping children of all learning levels and abilities to thrive. This summer we are offering programs with a focus in Reading, Writing, Science, and Math.
We are also offering camps that focus on social skills, building confidence, making lasting friendships, and becoming organized.
These summer camps are lead by certified teachers, Dyslexia Specialists, social workers, and Behavioral Therapists. Check out these unique programs specifically designed to engage all learners!
Camp Invention
In the ALL-NEW Explore program at
@CampInvention, children will get to design their own marble arcade, build an underwater habitat for their robotic fish, explore space and discover different inventions that have transformed the way
people create. Camp will be coming to Groves Elementary this summer during the week of June 13th-16th!

Write On! Creative Writing Summer Camp is a time to unleash the imagination and discover the writer within, while developing literacy skills, building confidence, and encouraging creativity. Each day of Creative Writing Camp is filled with fun writing activities, focused lessons, independent & group writing, sharing and so much more!

For over 8 years, B3 has been creating meaningful opportunities for children to experience a full range of STEAM activities through camps and classes. We have twenty different themes to choose from to suit
your child’s interest. Kid’s will participate in over 30 academically oriented, hands-on STEAM activities each week. Activities are super engaging, and kids actually have fun learning!
We offer both full and half-day camps for kids ages 5-12. Daily drop-in and before and aftercare available at Spring Creek Location. Early bird, sibling, and multiple camp discounts are offered at some
