Shelton School

Summer, The Shelton Way offers a unique combination of academic and enrichment summer programs in Dallas for students in Early Childhood through twelfth grade. Hosted at the renowned Shelton School & Evaluation Center, these programs provide students with engaging learning opportunities during the summer while supporting academic growth and confidence.

The Shelton School is widely recognized for its multisensory teaching approach and discovery-based learning methods. Because of this approach, students are able to strengthen academic skills while learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Summer programs follow the same proven instructional methods that Shelton uses during the school year.

Importantly, Summer, The Shelton Way is open to both Shelton and non-Shelton students. This allows many families across the Dallas–Fort Worth area to experience Shelton’s unique learning style.

Academic and Enrichment Summer Programs

Summer at Shelton offers a variety of programs designed to support both learning and fun. Students can participate in the Scholars Program, which focuses on strengthening academic skills while encouraging curiosity and confidence.

In addition, the program includes a Speech Clinic course that helps students improve communication skills. These sessions provide structured support for speech and language development in a positive learning environment.

The summer program also offers sports camps and enrichment activities. These camps allow students to stay active while building teamwork and confidence. As a result, students benefit from a balanced summer experience that combines academics, creativity, and physical activity.

Program Dates and Registration

The Summer, The Shelton Way programs will take place June 8 through June 26, 2026. Registration typically opens in mid-February, giving families time to secure spots before programs fill.
