Frisco Water Parks. If you live in Collin County and have not been to the Frisco Water Park as of yet; you are missing out! This waterpark has everything that every member of the family is looking for in a waterpark all wrapped into one. It has been open since 2007 and within the first few years they truly listened to the pros and cons of customers, and they adapted. And by doing this they made sure that every customer left happy!
This waterpark is in a prime location where it overlooks Preston Road. There are water rides that are the focal point, of course. However, there is also entertainment, restaurants, and movies that have been showcased as well. One thing that cannot be left unsaid is the fact that this waterpark has taken the suggestions from families, and they have implemented them. This is to ensure that a positive family experience is had by everyone.
Preston Plunge:
Quite possibly their most exhilarating water slide! Once you get to the top of the stairs you are at a 45-foot drop. When you get your mat, you can look at your neighbor, give them a thumbs up; because you two will be racing down the slide into the open pool! The main requirement for this ride is that you must be 42 inches to ride it. There are no exceptions to the safety rule.
Lazy River:
This ride is fully compatible for adults that just want to relax. It is called the lazy River for a reason. You get a large inner tube and sit down and just relax while you float down the river. The river has twists and turns, but it goes to the entire waterpark. Adults can “watch people” and still enjoy their time.
The Pipeline:
This is one of the fastest slides for several reasons. First, it is completely enclosed so the wind is not an issue, and it will not slow you down. Secondly, because it is completely enclosed it is also dark. So, you are moving at a fast speed, in the dark, which even makes it more intense! With this ride all riders must be 48 inches tall to ride. They don’t slack on these safety precautions.
The owners at Frisco Water Park have really thought about everything and have equipped the waterpark to be open seven days a week. There are nearly 150 lifeguards throughout the entire facility. And during the summer months they even have movie nights where they show movies on the big screen and families can relax in the pool to enjoy the show. Frisco Water Parks are amazing.
