Big Blue Swim School was founded by Chris DeJong, a five-time U.S. National Champion Swimmer. Each of their pools is temperature controlled, with showers and individual dressing rooms. They offer simultaneous lessons in an open pool so each family can enroll children across multiple age groups. They also provide progress reports for parents and actively engage them in each lesson.
Each weekly lesson is 30 to 45 minutes, with both walk-in and biweekly options available to best fit your schedule. They offer an Adaptive Swim Lesson program for children with special needs to receive individualized training. Best of all, their swimming instructors are equipped with 100 hours of training—so you know they’re the best of the best.

If swim safety is your top priority, SafeSplash is the ideal choice for lessons in DFW! They partner with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) to give students life-saving skills—and confidence. Towels and hair caps (for long-haired swimmers) are required, but they are sold onsite for your convenience.
