The at Frontiers of Flight Museum (FFFM) will be sponsoring the DFW Camp Expo 2025 and providing info about their STEM summer camps for kids. This means you’ll get to connect directly with camp experts and get all your questions answered (plus exclusive discounts!).

Besides FFFM, there will be many vendors and organizations there ready to show what they have to offer and discuss options for your kid’s spring and summer camps.

Duval Model Aircraft Exhibit

The Duval Model Aircraft Exhibit is the culmination of more than 40 years of plastic model building by Master Modeler Allan Duval. Mr. Duval built models of 1/48 scale aircraft ranging from World War One to the Jet Age.

The Duval Model Aircraft Exhibit displays 289 models built by Master Modeler Allan Duval.

Flight simulators at the Frontiers of Flight Museum

Flight Trainer Gallery

This gallery focuses on the development and use of flight training aids to advance the safety and reliability of manned flight. Pilots learn to fly in flight simulators. They are used for a variety of reasons, for the design and development of the aircraft itself. Simulators are also used to research aircraft characteristics and control handling qualities. Several different devices are utilized in modern flight training. Using demonstration, trainers learn how to do basic cockpit procedures. So much Fun at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. 

The Link Army-Navy Trainer model 18 (AN-T-18) is on loan from the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida. All other artifacts are on loan from the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

Richard W. Cree Gallery

The approximately 15,000 square feet that comprise the Richard W. Cree Gallery is the main display gallery of the Museum. This gallery takes up all floor space in the south building and is not assigned to specific galleries. It is home to our large aircraft.

When visiting the gallery, be sure to look up. Take a look at the aircraft suspended above your head!

Space Flight Gallery

This gallery focuses on manned space flight and our exploration of the universe. The Space Flight Gallery features artifacts from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo Programs. It includes the Apollo 7 Command Module, the only Moon Rock on display in North Texas, as well as Space Shuttle and International Space Station artifacts. The gallery also documents the recent efforts toward privatization of space flight through our Beal Aerospace and SpaceShipOne displays.

🚗 Free Parking Available! Convenient parking is available at the Museum. Spaces for visitors with disabilities are located close to the main entrance.

Food & Snacks

Snacks and beverages are vailable for purchase in the Museum Store. While the Museum doesn’t currently offer on-site dining, there are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby to explore.

  • Blue Star Museum Program: Free admission for military families from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day.
  • Gold Star Families: Free admission for all Gold Star Family members.
  • Educator Discount: Free admission for current, badged educators, including teachers, guidance counselors, and administrative staff in Texas public, private, or charter schools. Does not apply to group visits or special event days. Must present a valid school ID at the front desk.
  • Active Duty Military & First Responders: 50% discount on admission with valid ID.
  • Dollar Days: Special dollar admission days are coming soon to make the Museum accessible to families in need.
